On February 21, 2008 Smith Grove and Farmington fire were dispatched to a traffic accident with injuries on Redland Road. QRV 8 arrived on scene to find a single vehicle accident with entrapment. E1 crew arrived on scene took vehicle stabilizing and perform a roof flap. Davie County EMS handled all patient care.

Smith Grove was dispatched to a vehicle fire in the area of US HWY 158 and Baltimore Road. Deputy Chief Howard arrived on scene and advised a work engine compartment fire. One 1.75" handline was used for fire attack.
