Fire hydrant Testing - 23 Feb 2012

Smith Grove Fire Department will be testing fire hydrants during the month of March between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We ask that you use caution during this time should you decide to wash clothes as the water may be discolored. If after 24 hours you still have discolored water, please contact Davie County Public Utilities at 753-6090.

New/used 1996 Chevrolet 3500 service truck was placed in service October of 2011. This truck is used for a service company for ISO. This truck will respond to all fires in and around the Smith Grove district.

ISO Rating - 02 Feb 2012
|
|
Smith Grove Fire Department went though an ISO rating in October of 2011. After a few months of waiting we were able to hold our class 5/9 rating. Thanks for the support of the community and members of the department.
